GENERAL GUIDELINES
ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to all instrumentalists and vocalists between the ages of 8 to 19 at the time of the competition. Winners must perform the same piece approved by the judges during auditions. Judges’ decisions are final. For category time limits and registration fees, please visit the appropriate webpages.
AWARDS AND CONCERT INFORMATION
Awards include Grand, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Honorable Mention. Grand, Gold, and Silver winners will perform at the Weill Recital Hall, while Bronze and Honorable Mention winners will receive a Certificate of Excellence.
On the day of the competition, judges will also select recipients of the Special Judges Awards, which will be presented at the Grand Winners’ Concert. Previous award winners may enter the competition but are ineligible for awards.
Grand, Gold, and Silver winners must perform at the Winner’s Concerts to receive their awards; otherwise, they will forfeit their status. Winner’s fees must be paid at registration and are non-refundable if selected as a winner.

Gold Winner’s Concert: Sunday April 27, 2025 at 12:00 PM ET
Silver Winner’s Concert: Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 1:00 PM ET

NOTE: To the parents or guardians of the applicants under 18 years of age.
By entering NLPA’s event, parents give permission to the National League of Performing Arts, Inc.(NLPA) to use photographs or videos of your child taken by NLPA representative, with appropriate captions, in NLPA publications, on the NLPA website, social media and/or in the local newspapers. If you do not wish NLPA to use your child’s photos/videos in any way, kindly notify us by email (nationalleagueofperformingarts@gmail.com)
