YouTube Submissions Deadline: March, 17, 2025, 11:59 PM ET
YouTube Link Entry Guidelines:
All repertoire requirements apply.
Proper concert attire is required.
The recording must be made within three months prior to the submission date
and must be a continuous, single, unedited take using one camera.
No editing of the recording allowed. One straight through recording. Record from only one video camera.
Record in horizontal (landscape) mode, without any speaking in the video.
Position the camera from the audience’s perspective, ensuring that the student’s
arms, hands, and feet are visible. Minimize background noise and ensure the
performance space is well-lit.
Edited videos, partial recordings, or missing accompanists (when required) will
result in disqualification.
For piano entries, ensure the instrument is in tune.
Do not include the student’s name anywhere in the video or link.
The video title should include only the name of the piece and the composer.
The time limit is strictly enforced, so choose your repertoire carefully.
Set the YouTube video to “Unlisted”.
Submit the YouTube link by the deadline. Late submissions will not be
considered, and the application fee will not be refunded.
Email the link to nlpa.internationalyoungartists@gmail.com with the student’s
name in the subject line.
