2024 International Young Artists Competition

GENERAL GUIDELINES

ELIGIBILITY (NOTE: NEW AGE LIMIT)

The competition is open to all instrumentalists and vocalists between the ages of 8 to 19 at the time of competition.  The performance by a winner must be the same piece approved by the judges during audition.  Judges’ decisions are final. For the time limit and registration fee of each category, please visit appropriate webpages.

AWARDS AND CONCERT INFORMATION

Grand, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Honorable Mention Winners will be awarded.  For 2024 concerts, Grand and Gold Winners will perform at the Weill Recital Hall.   Silver Winners will perform at Merkin Concert Hall.  Bronze winners and Honorable Mention Winners will receive a Certificate of Excellence.  

On the day of the competition, judges will also select recipients of the Special Judges Awards. The Awards will be presented at the Grand Winners’ Concert. Previous Award winners are welcome to enter the competition but will not be eligible for the award.

Grand, Gold and Silver Winners must perform at winners’ concerts to receive awards or they will forfeit their status. Winners’ Fees must be paid at the time of registration. The winners’ fee will not be returned if selected as a winner.

NOTE: To the parents or guardians of the applicants under 18 years of age. 

By entering NLPA’s event, parents give permission to the National League of Performing Arts, Inc.(NLPA) to use photographs or videos of your child taken by NLPA representative, with appropriate captions, in NLPA publications, on the NLPA website, social media and/or in the local newspapers. If you do not wish NLPA to use your child’s photos/videos in any way, kindly notify us by email (nationalleagueofperformingarts@gmail.com)
